Explore Evergreen
Quiet at the door. Colorado all around.
You're in a real Evergreen neighborhood — with open space on one side, a lake behind the yard, and some of the state's best-loved places a short drive away. Here's what's close.
Disappear into the quiet — or into Colorado.
Trails start at the door, the city is close, and some of the state's most iconic places are a short drive down the canyon.
Elk Meadow Open Space
Trails from the door
One of Evergreen's largest open-space parks — 1,140 acres and 16+ miles of trail for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking, with Bergen Peak rising above it. It starts a five-minute walk from the house.
Evergreen Lake & Downtown
Lake & village
Paddleboard, canoe, or fish the lake in summer; in winter it becomes one of the largest Zamboni-groomed outdoor ice rinks anywhere. Historic downtown Evergreen sits alongside it with cafés, galleries, and Bear Creek.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Iconic venue & park
The legendary sandstone amphitheatre — world-class concerts, sunrise yoga, and trails through Red Rocks Park — is a short drive down the canyon toward Denver.
Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway
Highest paved road
One of the highest paved roads in North America climbs past alpine lakes and ancient bristlecone pines toward 14,130 feet. Accessed from Evergreen; open roughly Memorial Day through Labor Day, timed-entry reservations required.
Downtown Denver
The city, close by
Close enough for dinner, a game, or a museum, far enough that you come home to quiet. The mountains and the city on the same day.
Denver International Airport
Getting here
An easy, scenic transfer from DEN puts you at the door in about an hour, mostly on the highway before the last stretch into the foothills.
Everything you need, minutes away.
Settle in for a week or a season. Groceries, good coffee, a gym, a fresh cut, and a great dinner are all a short drive down the hill.
